This app can be used with or without an Oculus Rift and a Rift-mounted Leap Motion Controller (using the VR Developer Mount or unofficial alternative).
Hovercast
An arc-shaped menu interface that extends from your fingertips.
Hovercast is an arc-shaped menu interface that follows the 3D position/rotation of a user's hand (or other input point). The interface provides virtual reality applications with support for complex controls and actions, all powered by simple, reliable movements and gestures.
A Hovercast menu supports many types of items, including selectors, checkboxes, radio sets, and sliders. These items can be organized into a hierarchy, allowing the user to navigate in/out of the nested menu levels.

Input Modes
This package includes 4 versions of the Hovercast Demo:
- Leap VR: Requires an Oculus Rift and a Rift-mounted Leap Motion Controller.
- Leap Look VR: Requires an Oculus Rift and a Rift-mounted Leap Motion Controller.
- Leap Only, Table Mount: Does not require an Oculus Rift. Place the Leap Motion Controller on the table in front of you as you normally would.
- Leap Only, Head Mount: Experience head mounted tracking without a Rift. Attach the Leap Motion Controller to a sweatband, on the brim of a hat, or an old pair of glasses.
Note: the "Leap Only" demos are experimental, and do not work as well as the VR demos.
