This virtual reality app requires the use of an Oculus Rift and a Rift-mounted Leap Motion Controller (using the VR Developer Mount or unofficial alternative). Before using, enable "Allow Images" through the Leap Motion Control Panel to enable video passthrough. Available for both Windows and OSX.
In this example, you can experience the Image Hand interacting with virtual objects. Holding your hands out in front of you will cause you to move forward in the scene. Above the horizon, the "sky" is the real world in ghostly infrared video – so you can be aware of your external surroundings while you explore. Press R to reset your orientation while facing head tracking camera.
This example is compatible with Unity Version 4.0 or later, and requires Leap SDK Version 2.2.5 or newer. It's included in our Unity Core Assets, which you can get from our Unity download page. Read more about Image Hand in the Unity Core Assets here.
